XMO reads accounts today. The licences you’re waiting on — AFSL, ACL, CDR Action Initiation — are what let an agent act instead of advise. And Action Initiation doesn’t only permit that. It dictates the interface: consent per action, scoped, recorded, revocable.
I’m Carl, I design fintech products. I built that loop on your own words and your own colours, from your privacy policy and your public copy — no brief, no access. It’s live below.
The concept, running
It’s live — tap through the loop.
Nothing here is a new product. It’s your own ladder — show, understand, optimise, act — carried to the last rung, on one surface instead of five screens. What changed is that the consent step in the middle is drawn, and that step is the one the regulation writes for you.
Four decisions, and why:
AGL went up. Quietly.
AGL SALES PTY LTD · READ 6:04 AM
The bank’s own words, verbatim
The attribution under every claim is the bank’s string as the bank wrote it, set in mono. An agent that paraphrases its source is asking to be trusted twice.
PUBLIC TARIFF · ENERGYMADEEASY.GOV.AU
Three kinds of knowing, kept apart
The charges come from CDR. The alternative comes from energymadeeasy.gov.au, which anyone can check themselves. Blending them into one confidence score is where credibility goes.
The conflict of interest, written out
Action Initiation makes you name the action, the scope and the record. The last line is ours: who pays XMO. No amount, because the number would be invented and the mechanism is the answer.
Ten days, by law
Electricity retail already gives ten business days to change your mind. So the undo isn’t a courtesy buried in settings, it’s a button on the receipt with the date on it.
The demo switches an electricity plan. The loop is the same for a subscription, an insurer or a lender. What changes per industry is where the alternative comes from, and what makes the undo real.
I’m Carl. I run Sunday, a product-design studio for fintech. Before this, Swedbank. I work embedded, like part of the team, from first research to the final interface.
This is drawn from the outside, off your privacy policy and your public copy. Wired to what you’re actually building, it gets a lot sharper.
“He champions user-centered design without ever losing sight of how it drives real business outcomes. That balance is rare.”
You’ll draw this screen the day the licences land. Drawing it now is cheaper, and it’s the screen a regulator reads first. Grab 30minutes and I’ll walk you through the loop — or a two-week sprint makes it shippable.
